just to clarify, can anyone confirm the part numbers to order on spares box for the super low (medium) drop? the low doesn't look quite low enough, and the ultra low looks too low for my tastes. thanks in advance guys

You want the KHFL-151SL and KHRL-152SL. A picture of my car is on the top of the last page of this thread.
Awesome picture to reference as i also have a SSB and love the look of your car. You have the above mentioned springs installed in that picture? Do you know how much drop you ended up with over stock? And what size wheels/tires are you running in your pic? thanks very much

I think most people basically knew the Granatelli springs were made by Kings, due to the similarities in design, but i also think most people thought they were made by Kings to a custom specification for Granatelli, and differed from the Kings spring lineup. If these are just Kings SSSL, then why pay more, and wait longer? Just order Kings? Or am i missing something here?

Yup i paid more and waited. Being the same part # I highly doubt they are a special spring rate. Just run of the mill 152SSSL springs. I think it's rather funny considering they blamed the delay on a powder coater issue here in the states when it was probably just a shipping issue coming from down under. Unless King is manufactured in the US.
Explains why the drop looked very similar between the ultra lows (SSSL) and the Granatellis. Because they are the same spring.

Guys it's just them.

Google is powerful, learned about these guys years ago when I got my Mustang and was doing research on that.

I hate to overtly bash anyone, but this is Granatelli. I think some of you maybe had your expectations a bit too high.
Im sure this confirmation will be important for those who were considering ordering Granatellis. Not sure why then from this point on, anyone would order the Granatellis and pay more/wait longer, when they can get the same springs off sparesbox for less, and they are here within a week.

That being said, i made my mind up a few weeks ago that i would be going with the SSL.

Looks great with the SSL's. Im ready to buy now if i can get the 20% to work on spares box eBay. Messaged the seller to see why it gives the error "cannot apply this code to your order"

haven't gotten a response yet from eBay seller, but i used the chat function on spares box website and they said the coupon was only available to those locally within australia.

I installed the King Springs Suspension Ultra Low Front and Rear Kit KHFL151SSL-KHRL152SSLHD.

So far so good. The ride is noticeably stiffer.

Sparesbox sent me a pair of the regular duty rears by accident and I have those to sell if anyone is interested. New in the box.
interested in the rear springs if still available .

For those still considering Kings springs, I wanted to share my time-table for their quick delivery!

Ordered Kings KHFL151SSL & KHRL152SSLHD from spares box eBay on July 28th
Shipment departed Sydney via DHL on August 2nd (Australian time)
Arrived US customs in LA on August 3rd (US time)
Arrived Reno NV today August 4th

So exactly a week to date from day of order. Pretty good considering the shipment started right before a weekend.

For anyone wondering I believe the SSL front and rear is the perfect combo if your staying with a mildly aggressive 19 wheel and not looking to go extremely low. If I was going to run 20's or a extremely aggressive wheel setup I believe the SL is a better match. And if I wanted to go lower or maybe even run stock wheels and tires, the Granatelli/ SSSL are most likely the best choice.

I installed my springs last week and it was a relatively easy install. Springs settled a bit the first day and now I am just waiting for an alignment scheduled on Monday and I will get pics and measurements up.

I went with the SSL front and SSL HD in the rear and would recommend the HD rear to folks with a full size spare, those who routinely carry a lot of items in the trunk/ rear seat, and/or those who carry passengers frequently. If none of these 3 apply to you I would probably recommend against the HD rears. If I had to rate the firmness of the suspension in the 3 modes on a scale of 1-10, the before would be 2 tour, 4 sport, 5 perf. And the after with the kings more along the lines of 3 tour, 6 sport, 7 perf. Overall the ride is still fantastic, just slightly firmer. But everyone has an opinion on that.

Well here are the measurements for my springs after running around on em for a couple weeks. Ordered SSL front and SSLHD rear. Before and after measurements taken in the same conditions (full size spare in rear, 1/2 tank of gas) and are read from center of wheel to fender lip and rounded to the nearest 1/8"

Stock Front Left: 15.75" Kings Front Left: 14.5"
Stock Front Right: 15.75" Kings Front Right: 14.5"
Stock Rear Left: 15.5" Kings Rear Left: 14.5"
Stock Rear Right: 15.5" Kings Rear Right: 14.5"

As you can see I got 1.25" drop in the front and a 1" drop in the rear, and final result was an even gap all around. Overall extremely happy! Will get pics up soon.

Do the springs come with installation instructions? If not, where can I find such?
They do not. But there is a few threads on here that will give you and idea, and when you have the wheels off and are looking at it, it will make much more sense. Its a day job if you take your time and do it right.

I'd like some clarification here: 2quik4u and ssvnv report having the same springs front and rear, and they both seem to have measured the amount of drop quite precisely. But ssvnv's front drop is a quarter inch less and the rear drop is one-half inch less than 2quik4you's respective drop measurements. What accounts for these small but significant differences, assuming the measurements were taken correctly.
All of my measurements were between 14.5" and 14.625" with the SSL front and SSLHD rear. 2quik4u's car looks lower than mine is but there's the issue of different wheels being on the cars, so I just figured that was it.

Then again, I did measure the first week after install, but I don't think it's dropped measurably since then. I guess I could get the string and tape out again this week to check.
Not too sure. I do know that my measurements almost exactly match Ragingclue's. Maybe 2quik4u can confirm? Only other thing i can think of is maybe because he had more fuel or luggage/items in the car? He also has aftermarket wheels.
