K&N 33-2919 Air Filter

I have for sale a very lightly used K&N 33-2919 Air Filter. Is a great filter for the stock air box, especially considering how expensive the OEM paper filters are. Completely re-oiled with K&N oil kit. Ready for a new home. Asking $35 shipped to your door! Thanks guys! Feel free to PM me or email me at [email protected] with any interest.

So I see, thanks for the info. Lets lower the asking price to $35 then, that only nets me like $20 after shipping, but Its a good filter, and needs to find a good home.

Are these drop in type of filters even worth the money on these 6.2s? Ive seen folks that either love them, or hate them. Hard to form an un-biased opinion. I did see a 8HP and 8ft/lbs torque increase from a stock paper element to a drop in K&N replacement on a 5th gen camero. What are your thoughts?

8hp and 8ft/lbs torque isn't too bad for just a filter, in my opinion...
I think they let in more dirt just from some things I've read.

I originally had this on my G8 and loved it, if only just because those OEM filters are so expensive and the K&N never needs to be replaced.

I had heard that as well but I don't have any first hand experience or knowledge with these type of filters. I'd rather play it safe and keep dirt out then gain a few HP/ft/lbs...
Well let me know if anyone is at all interested, thanks guys for all the comments.
Good point

These filters really should be used when racing. For everyday driving, I'd use the stock filter.

What many don't realize is that there is ALWAYS a tradeoff. Yes, you are gaining a few more HP because you are allowing more airflow through (less resistance) because the filter screen is not as dense as the stock one. Because of this, yes, you will get more air but also more dirt through to the engine. Will this kill your car? most likely not, but it's good to know.

If it's Part Number 92066873 and you're paying GM full retail of $76 + tax then you've got a very valid argument.
I'll see what I can do.
