Just a mild cam; haven’t gotten to the dyno yet for a final tune. I’ll post the results when I do.Looks good. Any dyno numbers? What else is done besides the whipple?
The same cam GM uses in their 495 HP 6.2 liter. s 0.525-inch lift / 219-degree/228-degree durationWhat boost cam did you go with.
I sent it to WAMS (white auto and media) and they reprogram it to the Holden specs, which came with performance tests, lap times…. All the goodiesNice congrats on the Whipple! That's my long term plan for mine.
Didn't realize the SS had a built in performance test, is that available in all years?
EDIT: Looks like it's not stock but a dash reprogram, cool.
Thanks for the info - after I typed that I did some searching and did find a thread pointing to the thread from WAMS about it. I daily mine in the summer but it stays parked all winter, so that sounds like a fun upgrade to roll in at some point!

The stick shift has been great with it. As you see I was able to get a 0-60 time of 4 seconds flat. Not too shabby for a somewhat heavy rear wheel drive sedan.I didn't realize it was a stick shift the first time I looked at it. How has that been with the whipple? I am searching for a 6MT to buy and have been planning the mods already, trying to decide which route to go as far as FI.
Needed a new clutch anyway so I upgraded to a McLeod twin disc. Can handle up to 1,200 hp in case I upgrade some more.Hows the stock clutch holding up for you on hard launches?
I’m running the stock pulley. Honestly, I’m not sure the size.I had a McLeod and I liked it. Sounds like you did it right! Are you running the 4" pulley?
Thank you, I’m very happy with it too.The size is printed on the sc pulley. Stock pulley should be 4”.
Congratulations and welcome to the club. I have been very happy with the whipple installed on the SS.

Got it on the dyno today. 603 to the wheels.Looks good. Any dyno numbers? What else is done besides the whipple?
Not at the moment. I can’t get traction off the line already, so I don’t think more power would help much and it’s already a full Holden conversion. That's awesome! Is there anything else you have planed besides the tires?
