It's one of those colours you like or hate. It looks different in the sun too but was miserable and overcast.
If it had a manual and 2 extra cylinders I'd be waiting for them to put plates on it. I instantly loved the colour that much

Sitting on 20's too :)

That looks like the Green they used on the VY SV6 and SS. Is it the same colour?
It is very close to Hot House Green from the VY however not the same. but I first saw it on a transporter last week and it looked a completely different shade of Lime green (mind you it was on the top deck and I had to do a double take to realize it was definitely a new colour). So it is another colour changing type paint.

I was talking to the sales guy and I new the name of the colour before he mentioned it. He was saying that Fantale may get dropped as it hasn't been received too well. He is hoping they might add Orange Rock to the Commodore (available on the new Colorado and also the Barina RS)
he said it is very similar to the VF Sport concept show car from the VF launch

I LIKE it! Looks like a metallic paint which I believe the Fantale Orange is NOT. Also looks similar to the Inferno Orange Metallic:

Now that you have mentioned it, despite living in and around the Home-of-Holden, I have not seen a single Fantale or Regal Peacock on the road. Not one.
I see tonnes of Regal Peacock mainly Calais sedan and Wagons. Surprisingly I've seen a few SV6 sedans as well in that colour.

I've seen a few Fantale Commodores, not many though mainly Utes and a couple sedans. Unless they sold it there's still the Fantale Ute at Peter Page.

If your interested in seeing the Jungle Fever Green VF SV6 in the metal it is at Metro's on Port Road.

I was was wondering how long it will take for some of them to hit the road! Unfortunately they're all SV6, was waiting to see it on a Redline (with black wheels hopefully). At least this one has the option 20" wheels
You don't know what those rims are called do you? I went to a dealer and he called them Super Sports. Do you reckon they'll fit on the Redline/Chevy SS?

Are you serious? You must be living under a rock lol! I see them all the time (Mainly Regal Peacock, which can be disguised as black). Most of the Fantale cars I've seen have been Cruze. I was actually driving a SS wagon in Regal on the weekend, so if you were between Angle Vale and Port Pirie, you may have seen it

I have to admit that when I bought my ute the dealer offered me a Fantale because he had a customer screaming for white & had to wait a month for another one.. I thought about it for a second but thought that Fantale is one of those colours that will age really quick.
Anyone else remember that gold colour when VX ute's were released?
