It was inevitable we'd see the new SS on 22's. Came across this on instagram. Not bad - could use a drop.

Don't like the rims, but like Kurt Busch's ride I do like the painted rear diffuser.

The rims have a nice look to them - i like the way they match the car deatails and color. However, IMO besides being a bit too big the rims have another issue.

Rim spokes are like plants in your garden... you always plant in odd numbers. 1, 3, 5, 7, etc. of the same plant. The same goes for rims - odd numbers are best - 5 spokes, 7 spokes. Odd numbers are more pleasing to the eye.

I hope you guys are using decent tires, remember, this is a performance car and tire make a bigger difference than any one thing you can do to a car...good or bad. So, we shouldn't see any Nitto's, Falkun,Mayrun...etc. Keep in mind, if the tire manufacturer does not have a racing program, they CAN'T be any good for performance.

Drifting ... I don't know if I'd call that a racing program.

Every tire manufacture has "grandma" tires or let us say...cheap ones too,I wouldn't buy those either, but I would buy Eagle F-1 Supercar tires or any of their Ultra Performance tires. The list is long of sutable tires equal to the OEM quality...including Khumo, Yokohama, Toyo, and others well known by auto crossers and such. Some one traded to me a set of Falkens. I went to the track on them and threw them in the trash the next day... we sell Nittos here and I know how they perform, but, they are cheap.

I'm just sayin...you get what you pay for. If you are paying $1500. - $3000.00 + on wheel and then where the rubber meets the road you skimp on tires....?...I'm just sayin...

I thought most, if not all low profile tires are highly rated?
