Congratulations.

I'm just really confused all of a sudden with my order. My dealer didn't get an allocation until 2-3 weeks ago. My thought process was the car had yet to be built and the ones that came from the first boat were going to a higher priority location and I was going to have to wait. But now all those cars are being distributed evenly across the county, so am I still going to have to wait or will my dealer snag one of the black beauty's up?

They are going to loose half their expected sales running an operation like this.
Production started Aug 16 50 a day need time to get a load for ship then they shipped on Sept 16th arrive US Oct 17th out for del Oct 30th. That is a 10000 miles ship ride. Plus they unloaded and reloaded and 2 weeks to Qa cars.

By "unloaded and reloaded" , do you mean that they changed ships after they left Aussie Land?

I'm talking about the availability of the car they are selling, and the frustration of the customers that have one on order are having. One guy is expecting his 2014 in march. 4 months from now. Even with your added insight of, it takes a competitor 8 weeks to build one in the US, 4 months seems like poor communication on the companies part. The cars should be sitting on the lot, ready to test drive and purchase at the start of 2014. Not sure what you meant about it taking 8 weeks to build a car.

However, the second ship did not transfer the cars but once in Japan to do something it went to Korea to pick up more GM cars and now is heading this way with a big load. I can tell this one is really loaded because it is traveling slower than the others we have been tracking. Needs more oarsmen!!!LOL
