Is the aluminum trip in the dash and center console really aluminum? I know the chrome around the shift lever base is painted plastic.

Also is the alcantera real?

The chrome/aluminium is plastic so not real I'm not sure about the alcantera

First of alcantera is a fancy name for polyester so yea it's real just like polyester shirts and pants.

I have it in my 2012 z06 wish I had the leather when I pay 3000 extra for upgraded interior I want leather. I will pay extra for leather but offering leather or polyester at same price is nuts oh they charge extra for polyester in the c7 vett I hope to own one in a year or so will not be paying extra for polyester though.
