I agree, with me actually hearing these cars, maybe the only exhaust mods would be tube headers. There are videos on YouTube showing the assembly of the VF Commodore in many stages, dashboard, interior, chassis and mating of drive train to body, etc. The cats appear to be very small like the ones that come with the GM E-Rod LS3 hot rod package. HIgh flow, low restriction. Also noticed in the videos was the appearance of an exhaust crossover in the true dual exhaust system. The crossover is contained in a box aft of the trans.Great find.
Just awesome ... the exhaust in the beginning acceleration ... It is hard to hear him talk but I thought towards the end of the initial acceleration he said 155mph?
135mph cruise looked rock solid and just a cake walk. I just hope the FE3 tune isn't going to be a kidney killer on normal roads.
And some guys are talking exhaust upgrades .... don't think so.
Edit: Risked blowing the imac speakers and yes he did say 155 mph!!!
You and me both! The red is bad ass. But I want white.
Thanks for the video, sounds beast! :yahoo:
Yup, no point wasting time trying to find SS video's on youtube right now. A lot are just pictures that you can find here, which is pointless lol. Best to watch out for anything new here before anywhere else.once they start hitting dealerships we should be seeing more videos from dealers on youtube. just searched and its pretty bare so far. just a bunch of fakes.
It was a pre-production car. Not sure if it has all the same parts as the cars coming over on the boat. It's the same HP as the old GXP so unless they modified the HP on that pre-production car, it should be the same.
I asked the following question and got this response...This video is from one of my local Chevy dealers here in Louisvillle. Just wondering if anyone has posted it yet.
