I just wanted to touch base and let you know that I have two new readily available. Both of these I am authorized to sell at Supplier, no rebates/incentives included. I'll be as aggressive as I can on trades, especially on G8's, T/A's, Camaro's, Corvettes etc etc etc

These are our costs in Local Market Advertisement and In Market Retail advertisement expenses. Group commercials, "Visit your local Chevy dealer -insert names here-" etc etc etc

What are these?

Is there a plan to advertise the SS, or is GM collecting this advertising money as profit? Even left out of all the monthly incentives.

We know what Hold/Back is at 1346.25, can you explain the EMPINC: 2839.99 and SUPINC: 1069.37?

Even without those fees I think the invoice is incorrect. This was something someone on here provided...Invoice here is $40,431
I checked his numbers against my invoice, with VIN number match to my car, the numbers match right to the penny. Local advertising is different, as expected. The above does not look like an actual dealer invoice. He left out the EMPINC and SUPINC.

I suggest you guys arguing about pricing/invoice numbers should go over to the camaro5 forum and read the sticky on "how to read a gm invoice". it's 99% correct. Y'all really need to understand the numbers, what they are for, how the dealer pays them and when and why.

Me writing an explanation would take too long and just be pointless to the people looking at the smallest number on the invoice and expecting to pay that or +$100.

That being said; For example Walmart pays $1 for something the regular shelf price is $2.50...why? The costs of being in business which when you have been you will know the list of fixed costs is long and large.

What you posted is not an actual dealer invoice, but a mere sample. At the bottom of what you posted, in bold states pricing subject to change by GM.

I appreciate your support, and taking the time to verify.

I appreciate the input from everyone, I'm not here to try and pull one over on y'all. I've got 2 cars in inventory that I can't let age, and merely wanted to offer them at the best available price, and who better to offer them to than enthusiasts.

We are more than willing to overnight paperwork to anyone of any distance, and coordinate shipping.

For the record your price is WAY MORE than fair for fresh inventory as long as there is no huge 'doc fee' or other pack or a lot of 'test drive' miles.

I'm glad i'm out of it I always had a problem containing my laughter at the people that 'did their research' on the internet and disputed numbers thinking they were getting ripped off because site XXX said the invoice was YYY but it didn't include costs like advertising and stripped off the holdback and finance credit ...

This SS hasn't left the lot under the control of anyone other than myself, and the tech that does our PDI's (and it was snowing when he did it..) And we only demo pre-owned vehicles to keep mileage down

Now, who wants Phantom Black?

Sadly, I have not the cash for such desires. My wife is ill at the moment and we don't really know when she will recover. So for the time being having one of these is going to have to wait. But this is an awesome deal!

The price is whatever you can negotiate. All those things become factors and some are going to pay them and others are not.

There's actually four of them near me for the same price. Since they're putting this number on their web site I'm sure there's a little more room for negotiation here.

NEW 2014 Chevrolet SS
MSRP: $47,170
