Our GEN-F manual models feature a technology called Launch Control that manages engine torque and wheel-slip ratios allowing for the perfect launch. Garth Tander describes how it works.
I know right, got to love powerful wagons. As much of a performance coupe and performance sedan guy I am, i have a special place in my heart for performance wagons! The most impressive part of this video is when it cuts to the exterior and it shows a Wagon doing a burnout. Excellent!
G8s had this as well, and pretty much every other GM car with the 6L80E and 6L90E.I know that launch control is also available (or it was?) in the manual Camaros and I think it's a really cool feature.
I'm also pretty sure that the automatic Camaros (with paddle shifters) have rev-matching when downshifting, I think that is really cool also and can only assume it will be standard on the SS?
