It's amazing how a professed "SS Hater" continues to frequent the SS forum with dribble and nonsense. It's also pathetic when this sad "SS Hater" tries to belittle positive forum members for their comments. My question is how often is this banned "SS Hater" going to be allowed to infiltrate this forum?

-A few of TT C6, 1K Rider and NUNY... er Rob's comments on a popular auto website concerning changes to 2015 SS. She seems to be warming up to the SS everywhere else but on this forum.

Not going to happen CTS-V will have the supercharged engine and be available with the 8 speed auto. This model is positioned well in the premium sport sedan segment and the price is reasonable.

That person was banned for all the reasons you listed with the exception of 1. That person is back with the same attitude as before.

If you were here mid last year it did get ugly, name calling, references to partners, if you want a sample just tell him he's wrong,
Mods have culled the ugly posts so looking won't help, the only way is to find a quoted post with his comments.

I was away when he appeared out of nowhere I see ken took care of our old friend. I keep up on my iPhone but don't like to try and do the ban thing on it. Peace is restored once again.
Opposing views welcome just not the way he does it. He is on the corvette forum also unless they banned him too.

Opinions are fine but let me address your last question re free speech. Where do you get the idea you have freedom of speech anywhere? As an Australian, in the past I had reason to research parts of the US constitution as part of my job. The first amendment does not give you any right to free speech. What it does is it prevents the Government from making any rules or regulations that prevent you from having free speech. That is a very different thing. You are still not able to racially vilify a person nor be slanderous/libellous to a person without risking prosecution.

As far as a Permanent ban goes the member/s in question have been deemed to be Perma-Banned by the Admin and is treated as such on other forums Administered by Autoguide.
I'm not aware how quickly he gets banned from other forums though.

After all the trouble caused last year (I gave him more than a fair chance before banning him the first two times under his first two aliases) It was decide by myself, Admin and our other two moderators to do a quick consult then just ban with no hesitation from the 3rd time onwards.

As far as other members being banned, it hasn't happened (not counting spammers) I don't recollect dishing out infractions either (don't quote me on that but if I have there would have been good reason)

I went as far as to delete the vast majority of TTC6's posts and threads.

I think I can speak on behalf of the moderators in saying criticism is most definitely appreciated but not to the point of the critical views being the only way to look at it and everyone else's views are bluntly wrong.

Unless you were here to read his post hold your opinion of this forum till you have been here a while. If you have valid points about the subject being discussed fine but to denigrate a person or spouse over there opinions is not what people want to hear. You can say what every you have on your mind so long as it is not a personal attack. That is what everyone is talking about. Some on this forum have inside info and or work for auto company's. This person felt like he knew more than everyone else and tried to bully everyone who did not see eye to eye with him.

Please say whatever you want about cars in a semi decent manner. The banned person involved comments about ladies, minority groups, you name it, in an attempt to make the same point repeatedly. There was really no cause for the way he acted despite all of our attempts to steer him toward decency he still chose the low road and was banned. He must still love this forum to keep sneaking back in.

The guy does know cars, and was, and could continue to be a good contributor here but he likes to start fights and I don't come on here for drama, I get enough of that elsewhere!

Free speech: indeed, but I assume you'll use common sense to behave in somewhat of a civilized manner, which this person did not, more often times than not.

Their are two ways of expressing your opinion, one will earn you respect, the other will start a fight, many members have been here long enough to know his true attitude and his lack of respect of other members.
If anyone here is worthy of the nazi insult it's him, mods do a great job of keeping this forum open and civilised.

This guy loves drama and I expect he is getting his jollys reading what we say about his latest visit.

I believe yall when yall say he was saying awful things. And in my first post I stated that if someone was saying such things, then yes, bring out the ban hammer. Thats all I said. Then I was accused for stating false facts, when there was no fact stated, then oppressed for having an opinion on the matter because I knew nothing of what the person had said. I have no problem with anyone or anything on this forum. I will express my opinions on things just as anyone on this forum is allowed to do. All Im saying is that if someone doesnt agree with ones opinion, when there is no extreme negativity, racism, etc, then dont "hate" them try to suppress them just because you dont agree with the opinion.
