No no no. The G8 GXP is only the exact same car when that comparison is unfavorable to the SS pricing. When that comparison is favorable to the SS pricing, as it is in your illustration, then a Camaro becomes the exact same car.

Also, while the prices you quoted are actual market prices, they are falsely inflated by a secret conspiracy of magical and unprecedented highly coordinated price-fixing by GXP owners.

#1. Only an idiot would think that the asking price for the SS should be $35,000. It would be nice but there is no way in **** that will happen.

#2. Only an idiot would think that the SS needs AWD. Car companies only sell large sedans with AWD for cold weather climates and bitches who don't know how to handle RWD. I know this, it's a fact.

#3 It's a FACT that the camaro has 2 fewer doors, fewer standard features, less trunk room, less interior space and is sold in higher #'s. The SS is not meant to be a high volume car. Another reason the price is higher.

One point I do agree on, a manual would be nice as well as a dual clutch transmission but all DCT would do is drive the price up.

The proposed GM 6L80 six-speed automatic is the same transmission they use in the Corvette. Not a DCT but pretty fast clutch to clutch, so I read.

Hmmm, so you have been arguing about a price that NO ONE knows about yet...? The only sales price that has been announced is MSRP, and it's the only price you have argued about day after day... The same price that you have compared to other cars' actual sales price, which (in the case of your above post) is irrelevant to the $45,000 MSRP... Next time try forming a valid argument!

For whatever reason, the rims above look a lot better on the G8 than they do on the Camaro.
It had nothing to do with the size, because 20's are factory OEM.
