The G8 interior quality is much nicer than what most people think. I think a lot of people see it and assume everything was from the same Pontiac parts bin. But I love the new SS interior. I think GM is starting to figure out how to put an interior together.

DAT FAT STEERING WHEEL, mmmmm...

The SS interior is a nice step up. The G8 interior is not bad at all and seems to wear just fine.

IMO the G8 was the only Pontiac worth saving

idk man, what about the Sunbird? hah
I really hope when GM decides to introduce chevy's on the alpha platform that they take tips from lexus and German car makers on what an interior layout should be like. Wasn't too impressed with the interior, but it's good enough.

Glad you posted that as an example, the new IS interior is by far my favorite that can be had for under or around 40k. I agree though, they could definitely benefit from giving it a more cockpit feel. But compared to what they were making just a couple years ago, I'll take it.

I hate that as Chevy guys we accept sub par because its quite better then what we've been fed by GM in the past. I was hoping the SS would be a step up, a big step up, but i guess its back to hoping..
Did TTC6 just defend the SS or am I on the wrong forum?
The SS Sedan interior is NOT bad.
Especially when you consider the combination of drivetrain and actual sales prices which should be less than the $45k MSRP.
yes but NOT BAD doesn't mean GOOD. It means on the fence acceptable
IMO the interior layout is great. I bet if we were to see the SS interior with colors, fabrics, and materials used in a new cadillac, still with the same layout, it would look amazing. It being a Chevy looks amazing.
