Chevy is cooking up new colours for their latest rides. Everyone has a favourite colour, but most cars are painted basic hues. Chevy is trying to change that by diving into the depths of customer appeal.

Chevrolets two smallest models Spark and Sonic are already available in high impact colours, temporarily. The Sonic has Deep Magenta Metallic, purple is what most of us know it as, and the Spark is available in a Techno Pink reminiscent of chewed bubble gum.

With that in mind, is there another colour you would like to see the SS available in? Im hoping for an icey sky blue hue..

Stryker Blue Metallic on the Pontiac G8 simply looks awesome. Would love to see this as a production color on the SS. Sign me up!

that's possible for 2015.

for 2015 i'd like to see a manual option and a few more colors.

anyway; want the M6 and more color choices. Chevy teases us at Indy with beautiful blue SS Pace Cars....

I've always been a fan of domestic brand paint colors over asian and european.

More colors is always welcome

Couldn't agree more. Also, the Daytona Pace Car was SBM w/racing stripes and looked awesome! Would love to see SBM on the SS in 2015.

I think the Stealth Blue Metallic should make a return. Such an underrated color (and the most rare G8 color there was).

It's so hard trying to work out some of your colour names when they are named differently here. Some of them I know others are over my head

LOL they're just a bunch of adjectives designed to convince you your colour goes faster than the rest

it wasn't a popular color, at least from what i saw.
also I find that car makers like Chevy will keep specific colors that do well. unfortunately stealth blue metallic is one that hit the chopping block. plus I think now they can develop a much nicer blue judging from the other colors GM has.

Nothing popular or unpopular about it. The G8s were not optioned, they were built and tagged. So what was built is what was built. Holden only built so many G8s in Stealth Blue and Ignition Orange and shipped them out for the '08 model years. After that, those two colors were replaced with Pacific Slate, Sport Red and Stryker Blue.

Stealth Blue = K-Pow Metallic to you Aussies.

LOL chevy needs to be careful with thier colour names, heron white reads as Heroin White and Mystic Green reminds me of high school ahemm
