Having not seen one in person yet I need to know if Heron White is a metallic white or a plain non-metallic white ?

Heron white is and has always been non-metallic. I had the same colour on my previous 2009 Tahoe and my current Caprice PPV is heron white.

I thought actual Herons came in blue or green?

From whence do the white ones come?

Edit : aha, I see Egrets are actually Herons. Move along, nothing to see here.

I think if they added metallic to it, it would look amazing. Would have been a good thing to do for the SS and anything else new that gets this color.

White Diamond Tri-Coat, like on the newer Malibu's and Caddies---Pearl white---it's killer.

Have seen one in person, and Heron white on the SS is not metallic. I assume this is because, while not offered on the SS, Chevrolet has the White Diamond Tricoat... which is the color of my silverado.
