I was excited about the seats turning on in cold or hot weather when the remote start is used... But it's not working...(I activated the feature in the vehicle menu) My dealer said they don't have enough info to check it out and they need to research the issue. They said they might need to plug in a laptop to see if everything is working properly. Anyone else have this issue?

Mine don't seem to be working this way either. It could be that the car is not in the right temp range for them to come on as it has a been a bit mild here.

Is there a range when the heat vs. the cooling comes on?

as near as i can tell, this feature does not work as stated in the owners manual. i have tried everything to get this to work, but it never does. perhaps the owners manual should have a disclaimer stating "not all features may work in your car"

seriously disappointing...makes me think twice about trying the active parking feature

Well it might be like the memory seats mine only worked after three or four trys. I think the computer being shut off in transit mode all those months maybe the cause and it takes a while for everything to relearn thoughts.

Are you sure they do not work, or is it a similar issue as in the 2014 Silverado? In the 2014 silverado, the seat warmers come on with the remote start (no indicator light), but at such a low level that the seats never feel warm until the ignition is on and button selected.
As best I can tell, the level at which the seats heat during remote start, has something to do with the programming. I have heard Chevrolet is working on a solution, but I am not sure where it stands.

Are you guys sure it's cold enough for the heated seats to work with remote?
My Charger only works remotely when the temp is down in the 30's some where.
The manual does say, "When on and it is cold outside, the heated seats will turn on automatically."
(Don't have cooled seats, but assume it has to be pretty hot to function.)

I remote started my car during the last snow storm and they didn't come on. I also have an issue with my alignment. My car was delivered with the wheel off center. I was told GM requires 500 miles of driving and they will align it. Went today and the guy said since the car is so new they don't have certain bolts to do the alignment so they fixed the wheel but I feel like the car is darting around on the highway. I'm gonna bring that up with customer care.

Just make sure that the feature is turned on in the MyLink settings. Mine did not work but the feature was on "cooled" only and so I turned on the "heated" as well. The following morning when I remote started and got in the car a few minutes later, the seats were nice and toasty!

Something is fishy on the alignment story other members have had there car aligned and no problems. Did you take the specs with you they were posted up last Nov/Dec. You alignment is off if its darting around you need to go to a good alignment shop and forget the crowd at Chevy dealer.

Have customer care call your dealership, or the Chevy dealer of your choice, and discuss the alignment with them. Let them fight that battle for you.
Additionally, I thought the alignment could not be covered by GM unless the car had 750 or more miles on it. At over 800 on mine, it is due to go it. The angle of the steering wheel is less and the darting is almost gone, but it is still not dead on.

Annoyed

So I went out and paid to get the car aligned. The back wheels were out so the car pulled. Now the car is driving straight but my wheel still isn't super straight which annoys me because mey girlfriend's 2013 Kia Soul that is a 1/3rd of the price has a wheel and alignment that is dead straight. From day 1. I'm gonna drive around a bit and see if the dealer can fix these annoyances. This reminds me why I should have gone German or even Korean. Matt Farah from the smoking tire said about the new Stingray that it's build quality is an American 10/10 but a German 7/10. He's right. Sorry just venting, I'm a bit frustrated right now.

You got a V8 steering wheel not straight and you want an inline six wow sounds good to me. Alignments you need someone who can do something besides read lines and say okay done.
Not all Chevrolet dealers have a good alignment tech good ones go where there is lots of money a warranty alignment makes no money so who do you think does this work.
