well here are some before and after shots of the H&R Coilover System in the SS. total drop that was adjusted to was the following: 2 inches in the rear and 1.6 inches in the front. given you can go higher or even lower if you wanted to.

in 4x4 stock mode:

After:

another Before:

another After:

these are progressive and conical springs with a Super Pro Bushing on top. they look like this:

those NOT familiar with H&R they are Made In Germany

rears look like these:

one thing that was noticed that the car actually was higher on the passenger side stock 15 mms! also it looks like someone at the factory or during inspection left a LED flashlight under the car wedged between the heat shield between the rear end. were were like what the? lol!

it does but the batteries in it were dead. but the light was on the on position.

Looks so much better with smaller wheel gaps, what is the ride quality like?

Maybe it's possible that they have the passenger side set 15mm higher than the drivers on purpose, but accidentally at the same time. Since AUS is RHD they could have possible set it 15mm higher so that when the driver enters it would even out the ride height.

could be. but what about the flashlight! lol!

anyhow... the ride.... funny to say.... is softer then the stock suspension during regular driving. but when you get into it is much stiffer! never had a progressive spring on any cars that i own but i kinda like it. not use to it because i am use to just stuff and am use to that. lol!

I need this look on mine, looks just right! Where did you purchase this setup
At this time these are the only sets in the US right now. These where prototypes. Though they are the exact same ones form AU to be made sure everything is the same.

You an buy these from down under it seems but nothing available in the states as of yet. H&R will inform me on details. They also told me they may also bring in a spring set up for the SS as well. I have to send them my stock ones first so they can do R&D.

Did you gain any front wheel inner clearance with the coilovers?
I'd really love to rock 275's all around to properly rotate them. Just a pet peave.

not much changed but to be honest i tried on aftermarket wheels you can do a +35 x9.5 and not have a problem.

Any updates on when they expect it to be available in the states?

Maverick, any idea on what the overall adjustability will be on the damper/rebound settings? and what will be the range for the ride height change (max? min?)

Just curious if these would be an option over/instead of seeing if the Pedders G8 Coilovers would fit the SS...or another KW Coilover from the Zeta platform.

Waiting is beat. So G8 coilovers do bolt up? Confirmed? if that's the case there are some other nasty options out there already.

Not sure if they do or not. That's why I was asking what the compression/rebound ranges were as well as the ride height ranges were going to be for the H&R Coilovers...otherwise it may be worth investing in a test set of Pedders or KW to see IF they would fit.

Don't want to be that guy spreading false rumors. Ha.
