Not that I'll get rid of the GTO; on the contrary, can't wait to add this car to my collection. I'm itching for this car since I missed the G8 revolution. I see this car as a modern day G8 on a nimble platform with state of the art technology. Can't wait! I plan to pre order mine!

Welcome aboard. We'll know in about 4 weeks what the finer details are on the upcoming VF Holden, besides the drivetrain everything else should point to what improvemnts have been made to the package. eg: weight savings and final tech features should make the transition from RHD to LHD bar the manual trans.
Hopefully HSV will release their drivetrain details which should be shared closely by the Chev SS.
