Evening,

I'm from over on the ls1gto forum. I currently own a 2005 YJ that is undergoing a paint conversion to "White Hot." Financially I won't be able to swing the cash for the first round of SS to hit American soil, but hopefully the batch after that. I have a baby on the way so that puts a freeze on fun money for now. I'm anxious to see everyone get their prized SS and to see the modding. Figured I'd plant my roots early over here and soak up all the information I can before making a purchase. Hopefully the price tag keeps it in mature hands for awhile.

welcome to the forum, how much longer till your 05 YJ is finished it's conversion?
i guess it's kind of good you can't get the first batch of SS's, it'll allow you to see how everything goes, if it's as good as Chevy says it is.

What would you pay for the Chevy SS when it comes out? A lot of people are waiting for price to determine if they want to get serious about buying it or not. You seem to have pre-commit to officially buying an SS>

Not being able to buy the SS in it's first year of production might turn out to be a good thing, who knows, maybe next year we'll get a manual transmission option!
