If you are on the fence and plan on buying tomorrow, might want to wait. Just found out today that GM will be offering supplier pricing on most of their vehicles during the month of march. Problem is i do not know if this applies to the SS or not. If i find out i will let you guys know.

depends on the dealer. if one won't take it go to another dealer someone will take it.

It will be interesting to see if dealerships will be lowering their pricing on the SS. Dealers aren't having any trouble selling this car at current prices. With limited supply I find it hard to believe they will do so.

Funny you mention that. I went to several dealers in the northwest burbs of Illinois and all of them told me they haven't sold any yet. I ended up getting mine from Ray Chevrolet in Fox Lake. He had two since November not sold, and I bought his 3rd one coming in any day now. I do believe once it warms up things should change. Too many prius and german owners it seems around Chicago. Ray was great on price too. In fact I never had such a great experience at a dealership as I did at Ray. They were awesome. I can't wait for the survey.

the March supplier pricing is only on CERTAIN vehicles and DOES NOT apply to the SS.

"The March truck promotion will be combined with a Chevy Open House Event, which also offers supplier pricing, or less, on all 2014 cars except the Corvette and SS sports sedan."

good catch i did not see the "march" dealo. ;) BUT in general if you can obtain a supplier discount you can get it on the SS.

What is supplier pricing? Is it below invoice?
ie: MRM = 46670, SUPPLR = 44973, EMPLOY = 43219

when GXP were out they were selling them around here for 44k and change. so get a 43219 on it and the SS is CHEAPER then the GXP so take that the SS cost to much people. yeah i know it is a stupid comparison but so is saying the SS cost too much! ;)

Its probably the same every where since I still haven't seen any marketing for the car except Magazine new car tests. Locally the dealerships that got 2-3 SS's might have sold 1, if that since arrival. Clay Cooley Chevy in Irving,TX just sold a Black one marked down to $41,200 to get it off the lot.

One day people will get that its not a Malibu or Impala. I hear that almost every time I mention I'm in the market for one. I have a feeling in the next few months prices will go down. I'm waiting till then

I have to mention this too. I went to Bredemann Chevy to look at a white SS right in front of their doors. When I walked in and was greeted, they asked what I was looking at. I mentioned the white SS in front. They replied they don't have any Camaro SS's in white. I said no, the chevy SS sedan in front. They then said the new Impala does not come in a SS trim. I said again the giant white SS right in front of their doors, pointing at it. The sales guy said its a Malibu.

After explaining to them what it really was, they were all in awe Chevy made an LS3 sedan. Then they wonder why they can't sell it.
