Does the SS have storage in the mirror or else where for adding your garage or gate openers. All my previous cars in the last 10 years had the openers codes stored in the mirror.

I asked the dealer and couldn't get an answer. Thanks in advance. Regards

You will have to put it in if you want it. Car does not have it and the cost for a factory one is around 200 bucks for any GM car that has it built into the sunvisor.

If you don't have the sunroof, there is a holder in the overhead that will fit most remotes. I used it on my GT.

I have a connection in the G8 community willing to do Homelink for us, as I said in the other thread, the colors won't match.

We have a LiftMaster opener and I got a small remote that stores nicely in the change cup right behind the shifter. Pull up to the house, shift into reverse, hit the opener, and back right up and in.

Down the road I may do the HomeLink install if I can find a visor unit for a good deal.

I use the Chamberlain app and my iPhone for an opener.
Somebody here did find a homelink unit on eBay that matches the visor.
