So far, 19 inch 10 spoke wheels that look like 5 spoke(the SSV show car has 20's) LS3 415hp, 6L80 auto with paddle shifters and no mention of a manual.

Not sure if this is 100% accurate but the source, I believe has access to press information, and the press already has the official SS pictures.

Also, not very excited about this info....was hoping for a bit more performance than my GXP, other than the paddleshifters, which would have been a nice feature with my car. I guess the one big benefit of the new car is the interior and the ergonomics.

If this is all GM has to offer(besides CTS-V) I might seriously considering holding off another year and going for a supercharged "Hellcat" Charger or 300 SRT with an 8 speed auto.

I am definitely not buying the 2014. I already knew this from the beginning. I'll be waiting for the '15 or '16.

There is always a possibility that they could put the LT1 engine in it for another model year, like they did when they upgraded the GTO from the LS1 to the LS2 after the first model year.

Kinda pisses me off that they didn't put the 6L90 in it. Would be nice to have a faster shifting Auto.

Good move, it's always best to wait it out when a new car comes out since the brand making that specific car doesn't put their all into it, rather hold off on things to save for future production models.

It will be interesting to see how the Chevrolet SS improves over the years from where it starts this year.

Why do you think the 6L90 is any quicker than the 6L80? The difference between them is their torque capacity. Shift speed is based on programming.
