Hello All, I've always enjoyed fun to drive "sport" sedans. I've owned a 2002 WRX (bug eye) since new. Done mid level mods and have been happy with the vehicle for a long time. After 10+ yrs of being modded still pulls to 60mph in less than 5 sec undoubtedly helped by AWD.

Than being said, I wanted something more comfortable, a bit more refined and that would still be fun to drive. Sort of been taking my time researching high performance sedans. That is until I found the SS. It even made me switch stance on another great vehicle (2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport) as I was frankly floored by the overall package/performance/value of the SS.

I hope to enjoy my new SS for many years to come. Do a mod or two along the way. As a nod to all my friends of the V8 world I finally understand what they always told me... There is no replacement for displacement :) .

Always had the highest regards for small blocks V8s. My dad loved chevy's old 350 engine and hence I grew up around them. I drove a 1973 Buick Century with small block 350 V8 for a while. Funny thing is that I drove it in 1994-1995... Then my sister took it over and slowly turned it into a VW bug. She kept crashing the thing as it would go fast but wouldn't brake all that well :).

Friend of mine has Vette and I have driven it just couple of times. Although I made them count... 6 speed manual LS2 2005 or 2006 I believe.

Long story short I am glad to finally own a V8 the way I wanted it. Sort of perfect timing. I will still have my Subie bug eye for when the weather goes crazy.

I respectfully suggest just hang in there... Wife, family, always comes first :). As the saying goes good things happen to those who wait. You may even be able to choose a 6 speed manual (if you prefer) if some rumors are true for the 2015 model year. Sort of a few months here and there in the greater scheme of things is nothing.
