Not sure any of the LED spectrum's would be optimal for fog penetration could get a lot of back-scatter.

Yellow filters are used in photography to increase contrast. Also, yellow goggles are used in skiing a lot to allow skiers to see the bumps a little better. They might look cool but won't be much of a fog light anymore.

:2cents:
If you want fog lights for actual function versus form, you will need a yellow (2500k) bulb setup. LEDs will reduce the function of the fog lights from factory.

So all these companies are putting LEDs in as fog lights but really they are worse than the yellow bulbs we have been using in the past? That makes a lot of sense (read sarcasm).

Could you get yellow LEDs or something?

The difference in that is those car companies design their fog lights to be used with LEDs.

I don't know any manufacturer who gives yellow lights standard in fog lights

I'm not even sure if its entirely legal in some places

Upgrade to an HID kit. Throw in something 4300k or lower.

Lexus. Especially during the 90s and early 00s.
just bought 55w lights should have them in soon
those are going to be heck bright

post up some photos.
i know,The ones that come stock are useless
I hope you don't melt/burn the housing, 55w will generate a lot of heat.

you'll melt it! i have high end HIDs that run cooler at 35 watts. i tested them and they run way too hot as well. the whole housing is close quarters plastic. good luck!

Sorry...I couldn't resist.

If you search for motorcycle HID kits a majority of them will be 25w kits.
