Thanx CP, I had seen this in the Holden catalog and it's a really good feature to have. I have a Coleman electric cooler this would come in handy.
I was wondering if it could be modified so that the plug could be relocated inside the car, somewhere near the back seat to accommodate passengers??

This thread is over two years old and CP has since retired. Should be a few other folks that can chime in.

I have added this to my SS as well. While the bracket is made to be bolted/screwed into existing points, as long as you watch the thickness of where you want to mount this and modify the bracket accordingly, I do not see why you could not use it elsewhere. Might be better to use the wiring harness as a starting point and then purchase a 12V port that can accommodate different panel thicknesses better.
