Just wondering what you new owners are contemplating as your first mods. Both Performance and Cosmetics...

I have always done at least the SIMPLE 3 (Full Exhaust, Intake and Tune/Software) within the first week of purchase, but I wonder what you guys are gonna do first.

As well cosmetics, since to me the VF/SS is a diamond on the rough which would completely come alive with some better wheels, small cowl (as i did on my VE/SS) Etc.

Just wondering what you guys are planning to do with this great platform...

Thanks...

That is a 2 inch Cowl and trust me when I tell you that it is perfect now, I put a 4 inch Cowl first and that thing was TOO BIG... It did not look right...

But you are correct, the key is good work and I am lucky that I have access to amazing individuals that do body work/fabrication and you look at it and it looks like it came that way from factory...

But in my eyes the VF/SS NEEDS the Cowl to give it the agressive look it needs and I could had also insert a ZL1 Carbon Fiber insert into the cowl if I wanted but that might come later...

With a Cowl and Wheels the car will be a whole different animal...

Thats a pretty sweet lookin piece of metal. I like the hood scoop and think a bigger one on VF could look really good if sized and done just right.

A cowl on the SS/VF commodore is also something I thought it could use from day one. But unlike the G8, it will need one that's a bit more curvy and that isn't as big as the one you have. Something that makes it look a bit more "tamed"

I'm thinking the subtle bulge in the hood would suit Jaguar style vents either side, along with a small lower extension on the bumper and the usual staggered Breyton wheels something very aggressive could be created

I do agree, the custom cowl in my VE/SS is a little to sharp for the VF/SS, a slightly rounder and lower one would look great. BUT THE ISSUE is, to do a good job in fabricating/intalling it. A good body shop/fabricator is needed to accomplish it properly. That it will flow perfect and look like it came that way, not tacky or out of place... and some Strasse Forged Staggered Deep Convave would set the car great and agressive. There is many ideas and is good that you guys see the same details that need work.

Now what Performance mods you guysw ill do first?
