Here's one of the axle back portion just forward off the muffler. No flange connection like the G8. Have to pull the clamp to verify, but it looks like a slide in connection.

Would the NPP mufflers off a Camaro fit this car? I have this on my z06 and love being able to make it loud or quiet. In loud mod the butterflys open and you can see straight thru the muffler to the exhaust pipe.

Yeah I need to see the setup on the Camaro or a parts diagram.

But the Npp mufflers are part of the pipe and not available separately so...

muffler & pipe 6.2 LITER W/O SUPERCHARGER, W/HIGH OUTPUT, W/PERFORMANCE EXHAUST

MSRP Online Price
$1,959.97 $1,223.02

Nope the mild to wild wouldn't work on a conversion because the control setup for the flappers isn't there.

If the mufflers do fit you would need to rig up a physical manual control for them...the NPP uses the computer, throttle position, vacuum and electrics to decide and control when they open and close.

Also I would not mess with the factory axle pipe ball/flange. I would make an adapter that if it could fit connect the Npp mufflers after you cut them off the pipes to the factory axle pipe connection.

Heck if you need more loud and got alot of money just put them on if they fit and leave them open unmuffled which is the flapper valve's default!

Then when you get stopped for disturbing the peace tell the officer to observe the GM factory mufflers on it!
Is that for both sides that looks like it goes all the way to cats.
Oh sunset orange creations makes a mild to wild control box. So does the company the makers of the mild to wild switch Naked parts I think. Box vaccum lines and electronic controller.

Sunset orange creations makes a stand alone system for non npp cars. All you need is a power supply vacuum source for the unit it controls the solenoid for opening and closing the baffles remotely. Are Camaros diff are they not vacuum operated.
Just curious wanting to under stand how they work on Camaro. Vettes that never had NPP that is 06's can be converted. All you are doing is cut power to solenoid off and on. Which the unit does while providing vacuum in other words it has a solenoid built into the unit just run vacuum and power.
