wait so this thing is set up from the factory already cut like that, ready to do an axle-back swap???
BRILLIANT!
It would probably work with the NPP, but you may have to manually wire them with a switch for open close ... If the pipes them selves fit, a mild to wild switch would do the trick to control them.
I dont mind the slip onThis setup looks chintzy. I'm disappointed that it's not flanged like the G8. Hopefully a nice Kooks G8 system will fit the SS to gain an OEM flanged connection and open up the world of axleback possibilities already out there.
+1 Hopefully they've made it easy to swap out so they can offer it as an accessory.I'm hoping for a GM Performance Parts muffler with dual tips on each side like the Jeff Gordon SEMA car! ARE YOU LISTENING GM?????
Is that for both sides that looks like it goes all the way to cats. But the Npp mufflers are part of the pipe and not available separately so...

Nope the mild to wild wouldn't work on a conversion because the control setup for the flappers isn't there.
If the mufflers do fit you would need to rig up a physical manual control for them...the NPP uses the computer, throttle position, vacuum and electrics to decide and control when they open and close.
Also I would not mess with the factory axle pipe ball/flange. I would make an adapter that if it could fit connect the Npp mufflers after you cut them off the pipes to the factory axle pipe connection.
Heck if you need more loud and got alot of money just put them on if they fit and leave them open unmuffled which is the flapper valve's default!
Then when you get stopped for disturbing the peace tell the officer to observe the GM factory mufflers on it!
