Hey all as my title says the exhaust on the driver side continues to fall down breaking the bracket (welded twice already) I have kooks 1 7/8 long tubes 3 inch xpipe to oem mufflers. also car is cammed, dunno if that'd make much of a difference any ideas on how i could reinforce the bracket?
Show us a pic. There should be enough support through the system that nothing should fall enough to break a bracket. Rubber hangers in place for torque load? I too am cammed with 1-7/8 x 3" exhaust, never had this issue.
Is it the rubber donut that breaks or is it the prong or fork on the muffler itself breaking ? Depending on the break you may want to change the hangar to something more supportive like one of these Walker Hangar Bracket. I used them on my 68 Camaro.
