I am assuming the SS/VF has the same setup the G8 has. Hold down the left scroll knob while starting and the DIC enters the engineering mode, giving access to some cool data.
Can you new owners verify this?

Didn't work for me. I will try again tomorrow. Different control set on the wheels than the G8 and more information in the non engineering mode.

No engineering mode on the VF.

Global Diagnostic System 2.

Completely different architecture.

Looks like all the stuff that used to be hidden in the engineering mode is now part if the normal DIC display. Cool!

G-meter is in the HUD.
