My wife made the comment that she could not see the cars behind her just the windshield up anyone else notice this. I have now started to notice this kind of bugs me can't tell how close someone is. Car is now right at 500 miles will do oil change Dec. 1st week and do alignment.

I only see this when someone is riding my rear. Other than that no diff from my G8...maybe that's why I don't notice it? Less visibility than say my 2013 Acadia but more than any charger I have drove.

The VF rear does sit slightly higher than the VE rear, that coupled with the lip spoiler would make it appear higher. So long as people aren't tailgating it shouldn't be an issue. And if people are too close then they shouldn't be allowed to drive.

Then again I have been so used to driving cars with spoilers ( my Monaro had one and my current car has one ) that I am used to it. So I dare say it will be something you and your wife ( I was gonna say Boss :D ) will learn to live with over time. It just requires fiddling with your mirror a little too.

I guess this means that it doesn't have a rear view camera, since I haven't driven one, I didn't know that...oh well,...neither did my STS-V and it cost a lot more that the SS.

Can't remember if our G8 GT had a spoiler on it.

It had back up camera that means you would have to have it in reverse to see.

The only cars that matter are the ones in front of you

If they are behind you use the mirrors or watch the blind spot indicator.

I'll be blacking out that window any ways. My wife and I are finally going to look at a White SS on Wednesday. Wish me luck!

Unless you removed it, filled in the holes, and repainted it, you would have had a spoiler on it :)
