I was changing out the parking light bulbs to LEDs and not only did I drop a bulb into the headlight itself, but I also dropped the bulb holder and LED build behind the light and it slipped underneath it :storm:

Can someone let me know how to remove the headlight? I have removed the top two screws and the headlight still feels like something is holding it place.

Oh no! Shitty. I believe you need to remove the front bumper cover/fasia to get the headlamp out. They are installed before the Bumper cover when it is built.

Nothing like a little "light work" huh? Maybe some sort of small, flexible grabber tool would help.

You have to take off the bumper to remove the headlight. There are several plastic trim pieces behind the bumper that need to be removed as well to expose all of the headlight fasteners.

Check out Crazy Paul's instructions for changing out the grills and trim. First step is removing the front clip. Hardest part is disconnecting the main wiring harness plug (small screwdriver in the top to separate). Of course you might not have to do that to do the headlights.

Thanks for the responses and suggestions. However, I ended up pulling out the stock intake box, and then I was easily able to get the bulb holder out.
