wanting to upgrade speakers and do a little noise abatement. started at the rear left and things were going smoothly until I tried to remove the panel.

I believe I have the 4 required screws out and all of the pins and clips are free. I can see that the door handle cable is still attached, but that is not my problem.

I proceed to lift and turn the panel, I get up and inch or so, and twist outward maybe two inches. I do feel a release coming from near the center of the panel, then it stops. I'm applying probably 10-12 pounds of force.

Are there clips near the center of the door panel?
How much force is necessary to release the panel?
Have I missed a screw? The diagrams are very straight forward.

Thanks

thanks for the inputs, I finally realized that I removed the wrong screw in the door arm rest area, then things came apart nicely.

Thanks
