Checking tire pressures with nitrogen? But I thought that was magic tire pixie dust that never ever infinity needs adjustment because of larger molecules less temperature sensitive magic fairy blessings.?. :)
I was adding magic fairy dust to my tires. I do not race with the recommended tire pressure of 36 psi. After the race I will let out what I put in to the 36 psi. Racing with the 36 psi rolls the shoulders over so I increase pressure to have a better foot print under extreme cornering. As to why I use magic fairy dust, because with nitrogen, rather than the normal air we pump into our tires, it allows the tire pressure to remain constant throughout the race regardless of the temperature. With Fairy dust the tires grow about a pound. Without fairy dust they may grow 5 pounds or more depending on the outside temperatures and the severity of the turns.
NASCAR uses it. F1 uses it. Indy cars use it. This car came with it so I use it. All of the experts on this forum can go ahead and debunk my claims if they like I do not care. It works for me and has worked for all the years I have been racing.

I use the secret 80/20 mix.
MIKE!!:eek Do not give away our secrets! kostamojen and others read this stuff. We may have to face them on a course some day and if you give away all our secrets we could be at a disadvantage!
Next you'll tell them that we pour Coke on our tires before the race to make them nice and sticky and that we fold the mirrors in to make the car more aerodynamic. You are such a big mouth.
