Vice President of Development Doug Duchardt concludes a three-part tour of the 2013 Chevrolet SS that Hendrick Motorsports will race this year in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. In this segment, Duchardt discusses the carbon-fiber decklid and shows fans what to expect from the new car at Daytona (Fla.)

It would be nice if there was similar use of carbon-fiber on the production SS. If this car is to be truly considered a "4 door Corvette" some of the extensive use of carbon-fiber on the new Stingray should make its way to the SS.
