Watched the video on USA Today where Dave Leone states the SS has the above. I do not see it in the config menu anywhere....Anyone else see it?

I noticed it's not in my configuration menu either (owners manual says it is I think) but it is the car, it's gone off a couple times and is probably the most useful electronic warning this car comes with.

It is there. It's part of the backup system, you can turn off the alert with the one option in the information system for camera. Also it's all part of the "park assists" button next to the traction control and self park.

Well the manual says: under collision avoidance 5-36 that you can turn on or off the feature, and it is not in my menu....

The turn on and off is the whole system I think. Turn off the park assist and the beeps and warnings stop.

I believe it's on by default. When I am backing up from a perpendicular parking spot, and a vehicle is approaching, the SS will warn you so you don't T-bone the other vehicle. It's handy.

Mine works, went off on Christmas Eve as I was waiting to back out of a spot. I saw the car in question, but it warned me anyway.....
