if you have no cell service then you either have a phone plan by a really crappy service provider or are out somewhere far out from the city and suburbs and should in that case have a spare. plus who doesn't have a cell phone these days?Until the following occurs:
- you can't reach them because you have no cell service (or no cell phone)
- you reach them but they can't get to you in a resonable amount of time
- you reach them but the cost is astronomical
- you reach them, they show, and proceed to phuck up your vehicle

unfortunately them not getting to you in a reasonable amount of time is what happens at times, once i had to wait 2 hours :smileyPC:
if you're on a roadside assistance membership plan you don't have to pay anything unless you request something be done outside of the plan you paid for.
I heard horror stories about that, usually I request to get a flatbed just to lessen the f*ck up's
