There are a few Stock Auto G8 GXP's that have hit 12.8/12.9's but low 13's is the norm. 13.3 is my pb (manual) but I suck.

I would expect the SS to be very similar maybe a bit quicker with the lower curb weight.

They did make an effort to cut weight a bit but due to it's massive size I have a feeling it will be just around what the G8 did. Hopefully better.
More rubber and a little over 100LBS less weight. .1 quicker to 60 and .1 quicker in the 1/4 compared to an A6 GXP?

Chances are it may be like that, very little difference in times. If it is, I guess it could be worse, getting slower times.

Price of the Chevy SS is the biggest question about it right now, I think if it actually stays within the speculated $27-35k price range people might not mind at all that it's 0-60 and 1/4 mile times aren't much different from the G8 if this turns out to be the case.

The day of the price announcement will be the happiest on this forum.

Either we'll get a fully loaded V8 sedan at an exceptional price or TT will pack up his stuff and leave.

Fireworks are expected.

I think the rear axle ratio is similar to the GT not GXP? So straight line performance should be between the two models? But the large rear tyres and improved weight balance should help cornering grip
GT was 2.92
GXP Auto was 3.23
GXP Stick was 3.70

Pretty sure this SS Auto will share the 3.23 from the GXP Auto.

This SS should run maybe a half-a-tenth or a tenth better than a stock GXP auto if the slight weight reduction is true and IF all else is comparatively the same.

haha yup that pretty much sums it up.

crazy how pricing will literately make or break this car, if it wasn't for the competition, pricing would be all that much of a concern.

can't be much longer till we get some final word on price.
