The Chevrolet SS is getting teased more than a dork at recess between GM’s minimal effort here and Holden unveiling versions of its new Commodore.

Said to be a four-door Corvette, General Motors will once again take a stab at selling a re badged version of its V8 sport sedan called the Commodore in Australia. Power will likely come from a 6.2-liter LS3 small block V8, meaning the car will have 426 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque.

Chevrolet isn’t expecting to sell the SS in volume, but the brand also said in the past that it would meet demand. Initial volume will likely sit between 10,000 and 15,000.

Official information on the car is coming one minute after midnight tonight.
