As you'll see in the picture below, all of the controls for the Chevrolet SS infotainment system are all close to the infotainment screen, which can get really annoying.

In my opinion it would have been better if GM installed a knob and a few buttons to control the infotainment system around the area of the shifter, just like what a number of car makers have been doing. (see example below)

i hate it too, they had the space to do it, but Chevy really wasted the space.

if it was up to me, infotainment controls would be inbetween the shifter and cup holders.
