Yeah, several threads don't may it accurate...:question:they are all based on the tweet from "one" guy...I thought is said that he is a Motor Trend editor.Umm, I think there are several threads on this already, 2015 though not 2016.
If they made this car have the same expensive material underpinnings as the Alpha then it would be one light hombre. Even at this more affordable state, using high strength steel instead of aluminum and the like, its one of the lightest full sized RWD sedans out on the market and on par with the Alpha CTS.First credible source i've seen.
Now we're fukin talkin doe.
"we'd love to see GM go even more extreme with the SS: Shave the weight and give it the 427 V8, six-piston Brembo carbon-ceramic stoppers, the incredible DSSV shocks, the ultra-sticky Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R rubber from the Camaro Z/28. Name it after some batty old COPO code, drop it at SEMA 2014, then wait for the howling masses to beg for a production version.
Chevy SS with a Flowtie? Yeah, we could get behind that."
