Someone somewhere has to be running one. I'm curious if it's even worth it on the LS3. My experience with the Speed3 was that a catch can was almost required. The amount of gunk it caught in even a week long period was insane, but that's an early DI turbo engine.

Yeah went on with my intake, I've always ran them, I'll post pic after exhaust. Helps keep your intake elbow clean, bout it. Couple spoon fulls of oil in there every few months get rid of, that would of otherwise gone right into the elbow/intake manifold.

Can you share a parts list? I like the fittings and hoses chosen. Very clean...

I'm sure we can figure out the rest.

thanks!

Why didn't you use the #85487 (Camaro) unit?

i didn't like where it mounted if it even was able to mounted in that same area. it probably would work on the SS some how, but did like how the whole mounting part was so exposed like BAM right in your face. the rod thing is just looked so after thoughtish (is that a word? lol) see below photo ;)

given the can clamp is exactly the same as the one i have it is just the bracket that is different. i guess i could have also just make a bracket like that above and do the same thing. but again i didn't like the way it looked. ;)

also i had this can laying around for another car of mine and never used it. ;)

Sorry for the thread necro, but I'm still thinking about adding a catch can. I had the Elite Enginerring can on my Camaro and I wonder if it can be properly mounted and operated on the SS Sedan. Same engine after all, right?

Just ordered one from Mike Norris.

Billet PCV Catch Cans

I'll let you know how it goes and post pics. Looks like G8 guys were mounting it behind the CAI after they removed the stock unit.
