I have been waiting for this car for long time. I am 90 percent in love with this car and as long as the dealer doesnt try to high gross me with the price, I will be getting one. I can't wait to see this forum grow once the car comes out and shops start to add performance parts to it.

I am right there with you.

Before we bought house my wife and I made a deal: she gets a house, and I would get a G8. That fell through when Pontiac folded up shop I thought I would never get a shot at one of these cars again.

There aren't a lot of opportunities for a second chance at something are there?

So I guess you're happy with what the SS is like so far? Are there any improvements you would like to see being made to the SS sedan? I know guys like TT_C6 stress that the SS is missing out on some key things that could make the SS far better than what it is currently.

I would have liked the newer lt1 motor and also wish the plastic front bumper wasn't there. But everything I expected from the vehicle is there. Rear well drive, auto v8, with the added features that my wife would like.
