I seriously can't wait for mine to arrive. I don't usually get this excited over cars. Well I was this excited of the G8.

G'day there and welcome to the forum. What combination did you order? color, sunroof?

Yup I'm in Raleigh. I got red with the sunroof. I had been looking at get a G8 GXP. I've been looking at stuff I want to do to it to have it tune for the back roads of NC and the mountains. I can't wait to drive this car because i'm going to drive the **** out of this car.

Bring whatever you have out to Cars and Coffee in Cary, first Saturday of each month, Waverly Place shopping center. You will find a few of us G8 owners around!

Did you order your car from Hendrick Chevy in Cary? I've been pestering those guys for months about when I can see and drive an SS. I'm thinking red too. Good color choice! :goodjob:

It would be great if people can get some seat time before they buy an SS, i kind of expect the flagship dealers to have at least SOMETHING.

The manager at Hendrick said they had 5 on order and 3 were sold orders. So he said that he'll have the other 2 sitting on the showroom floor for test drives. I've got my hopes up.

I won't be there this week (work), but look for Doug (white GT with supercharger) or Kevin (very shiny red GXP). Hopefully a couple others will be there too.
