In 1998, Holden Special Vehicles hired Callaway to design, develop and assemble a high output version of the 285 bhp LS-series engine for the HSV GTS (Project "C13"). Callaway built 1,500 402 bhp engines for the 2000-2002 models which were installed on the Holden assembly line. The HSV GTS became the fastest production car ever produced in Australia at the time.

My G8 runs that good in the quarter mile and I'm not supercharged and have a hole **** of a lot less invested. Good Lord, you can do a supercharger quite a bit cheaper than $23,000...If it's really 570 hp, it should be running faster 1/4 mile times that that. I can tell you right now that mine is not 570 hp...

I agree but they warranty that puppy for 36/36. If you buy a Maggie and slap it on it's your dime if it goes south and they do more than that.

Yeah I thought the speed wasn't that impressive for the HP but that's only based on stuff I read.
I did see another site with the different prices.

I had sent an email to "zeroto60times.com" asking where they got this time of 4.4 sec and this is their reply.
"The stat that you referenced has been updated from being based on estimates (released prior to actual testing) to being based on an average of actual test results, so now it is more representative of the car’s potential…although of course that varies depending on an abundance of factors.
So now when you go to the site it reads, "4.8 sec.
From everything I've seen and read so far that seems realistic.

That car will be a beast but it's priced way high. Granted you have exclusivity. I would still take my CTS-V over it.
