Callaway will be doing their own version of the SS, saying their looking to add a little more excitement to the SS....

Callaway plans to take the SS to HSV GTS levels, offering the 6.2-litre V8 SS with a supercharger.

Callaway has not announced pricing but you have to figure if the SS will retail for $US45,000 while a similarly-specified HSV ClubSport sells in OZ for $A60,990. With the HSV GTS retailing for $93,000 how serious a hole do you think the Callaway SS will put in the pockets?

Likely $10k-$15k on top of the price of the vehicle.

I did some looking around for more information and found the following:

Callaway Cars Inc
The new 2014 Chevrolet SS Sedan at the New York Intl. Auto Show:

Picture a Callaway version of this sedan - the Chevrolet version of this LS3 Powered V8 sedan has an estimated 415 hp, we see serious possibilities with this car!!

Look what C & A Auto Fashion in Melbourne, Au. has done with a Magnuson Supercharger kit on a VF Commodore SS-V. And mind you, this is a 6.0 engine!! Go to http://youtu.be/8MyA8HROZng . Enjoy the sound of this beast!!! I believe the KW output equates to about 700 or more HP at the rear wheels. Wonder if this will be 50 state legal?? Dangit, gotta go dig up another can in the back yard!!!!
The you tube address doesn't seem to want to work, so look up VF SS-V Magnuson heartbeat supercharger install.
