Hi all-

I am a father of 2 and own a small biz in CA.

My 2007 Avalon (225K miles) was in perfect condition and got totaled a few months ago. I have been searching for my next car and have been totally uninspired by everything I've driven. Then the Impala killed it on Consumer Reports and I drove one. Then the SS caught my attention.

I am very close to pulling the trigger on a black on black SS. I am looking for suggestions on price points to hold firm at. To those who bought one already: any regrets??

Great car, if you get it at MSRP pull the trigger. Most dealers have 1-5k markups. Good luck. Btw it will blow your Avalon away.

I agree, most dealers around here are going 5k over. I got lucky. I would stand on msrp pretty firm.

I am in the So Cal area and was talking to a number of dealers. One was willing to go $500 under MSRP. Wound up using a broker who got it for me for about $950 under MSRP (Moonroof only, no spare). Either way, I would hold firm. In the last week, I have received repeated messages from the dealers and it looks like this body style has only a limited appeal in the Los Angeles market (anyone who is familiar with the area will understand).
