It's funny, all the nay sayers assume they are the target market and that GM failed to make it visually appealing enough. None of them ever assume they're not the target market and that's why it doesn't appeal to them.

I personally bought this car because I work in finance and have to ask banks and investors for millions of dollars in loans/investment to finance spec construction. In my industry, appearance matters and therefore the restraint exercised in designing the SS is one of the most important attributes, to me. If you don't feel the same, you might not be the target market.

AMEN! This is what I have been arguing since the car was unveiled! As a future accountant and car enthusiast, this car suits me perfectly! I will say, I'm kind of getting cold feet though, I'll post about that in a separate thread...

My favourite three words? "Impressive design restraint". Finally, there is evidence that at least one yank 'gets it'. If you want brash [read: crass] styling, pi$$ off over to dodge. But if you want something that is 'built for go and not for show' (like me :sarcasm:) get the SS. I know I will be sooner rather than later, now they have released the Jungle Green. :kboom::Dance:
