Thoughts about the two pics below?

I think the SS only emblems would be bad ass! The hood scoops would be nice too!!

Wow! SS badge on the front with the vented hood looks amazing, I would definitely go for that look over the factory look.

But the second looks might be better for production as it is a look that will appeal to everyone, the mainstream approach.

I know if and when I get my Chevy SS the grille will either be debaged of the Chevrolet badge or an SS badge.

Yeah, I'm diggin no emblem.

Or, I'd like to see chevypwr's avatar or cfrp's avatar on the front. THAT would be awesome!

That is Photo-shopped, currently there are only 2 grille options Holden or Chevrolet. Waiting on a Blank option myself. I would like to see a functional hood design like the ZL1, Stingray and the new 2SS.

Nice work, Whipple!

While you're at it - that beautiful SIM could use a drop. ;)

And I double dog dare you to change the roof color to black. :thumbs up:

No logo at all. I am worried the fake hood scoops will hit the upper pulley on my 2.9L supercharger.
Sorry, but to me the G8 style hood ruins the lines of the car. The G8 had somewhat harsh lines on its body, more harsh angles as the hood turns into the fender. The SS lines are significantly better flowing and the sharp edges have been knocked off slightly in favor of a more sleek looking outline.

...to go and add the G8 vents, functional or not to this car...or any hood vents in such a perpendicular manner to the soft lines of the car only detracts from the car. If you want to add some functional vents, modify the hood, or do a little weight reduction (thought how much would it be with an aluminum hood), then at least do work that maintains the lines of the car and doesn't create a break in the eye candy.

That hood is like biting into a wonderful oreo, only to realize someone replace the glorious cream in the middle....with toothpaste.

It's.Just.Wrong.
