$44k isn't too bad at all, better than paying the price of buying one brand new

In Ga the sales tax you pay is on the sale amount so that is over 2600 add to the 44000 price tag just a heads up. Oh price is great it's the tax thing that hurts us.

True, but with a private sale you can put whatever reasonable amount you want. I have saved people plenty of money by under stating the amount of sale, but thats just me trying help out buyer.... I'm sure not everyone would be willing to. Right or wrong government agency's get enough of my tax dollars.

Used to be that way in TX, but not any more. Have to use the greater of 'standard presumptive value' table or actual price.

Yeah, I was more so asking to find out if there were any problems with it or if had anything to do with the car itself. Don't mean to pry if it's personal.
